Don’t call it a comeback! After a months long hiatus, Vaarallinen reemerges in North Providence.
The 2016 Grammy award winning rock band’s 2018 European tour came to an abrupt end after scandal. Vaarallinen, with exception of keyboardist Hannya Lee, and a fan were passengers of their tour bus when the driver swerved to avoid a cat on the road. The driver lost control, resulting in a crash that injured all present band members and the fan’s loss of life.
Toxicology reports revealed all involved were under the influence of cocaine and ecstasy during the incident.
Lee and the rest of Vaarallinen were held accountable for the fan’s death.
The band then briefly split to work on solo projects in Idaho.
Now, under new management, the band is back together.
“I am so thrilled to announce that I am taking over the management role for Vaarallinen,” says manager David Pink,
“A Grammy winning rock band that has just landed in North Providence. I encourage you all to go out and take a listen. The band is constructed of a number of cute guys that I am sure you will want to hang on your wall-posters! Posters to hang on the wall. Lots of merch. Check them out!”
Fans of Vaarallinen can expect to see the band play on the September 28th Block Party in Pine St. Plaza.
