October 7th: The North Providence Police Department hosted ‘Pizza with the Police’ at Al Dente’s Italian restaurant.

Officers consider the outreach event a success. Twelve people were counted in attendance. The most notable among them were mayoral candidate David Pink and the Vaarallinen rock band. Only senior officer Mickie Olbers was present to represent police.

The event however was not without incident. Barely Ember-Aesop caused a disturbance. Witnesses claim Ember-Aesop harassed police and assaulted David Pink with a slice of pizza. She was immediately escorted off the premises.
